We've been building for over 35 years in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Over that time, we have constructed a diversified portfolio of commercial, retail, historic building renovation projects, and multiple forms of housing. We've even constructed a suspension footbridge in Honduras!
Yet our primary focus over the last decade has been larger, high density, urban infill condominium and apartment projects. These projects range from three to four stories over podium parking structures, to Type 1 post tensioned mid-rise buildings, ConXtech steel moment frame structures, and Type 3 wood frame buildings surrounding standalone parking structures. We have constructed over 12,000 residential units, over eight million square feet of parking structures, and several five-star hotels.
The majority of our work is negotiated with our clients so that we can assist and guide the process during preconstruction. Our preconstruction efforts give clients the best possible start to their project or program of work. Preconstruction is viewed inside and outside of the organization as truly a value-added service that we excel at delivering. We consider all key logistical issues for the project, the most appropriate phasing of work, design management issues, temporary work solutions, and procurement strategies. We also determine how the project will be delivered using a deep understanding of the entire development and construction process. Working hand-in-hand with developers and end-users through the conceptual and feasibility stages, we provide invaluable input for strategic and project planning, risk assessment, value engineering/management, and programming services.
